College volleyball taught her how to turn pressure into performance, master teamwork, and think strategically on the fly. On the court, she discovered she loved pushing herself and others, and realized early that teaching and speaking to communities energized her just as much as competition. Those lessons — from motivating teammates to inspiring young students — became the foundation for her work coaching, consulting, and helping individuals and organizations reach their full potential.

Long before DEI was a corporate buzzword, Heather was on national TV talking about sisterhood and how people can lift each other by learning to relate better. Appearing on The Tyra Banks Show was just one stage for a lifelong focus: helping individuals and teams connect, understand each other, and perform at their best.
Heather’s work — from media appearances to consulting to community outreach — has always had, at its core, the goal of building bridges, not silos.

Heather has never been shy about speaking up — a trait that carried her all the way to becoming a college professor before age 30. Since then, she’s taken that voice from lectures to corporate trainings, leading talks that sharpen teams and speaking at graduations to encourage young achievers. Whether teaching, training, or inspiring an audience, she turns ideas into action and leaves people stronger than they came in.
