Difference Between Thoughts and Beliefs

You may have thousands of thoughts going through your mind, but only a few beliefs.

Thoughts are temporary brain activity, passing patterns. Beliefs are more permanent, having been created by many influencing events. Beliefs are thoughts you’ve made real and accept as true.

Choosing to make a thought real or not is a decision. All things were once thoughts, but not all thoughts make it to fruition. Only the thoughts attached to strong feelings and emotions have the juice to become reality.

The subconscious mind is the seat of emotion and the piggybank for our memory, therefore memory is tied to emotion. Emotion is energy in motion. The more emotion a thought has, the more powerful it is.

And powerful thoughts shape lives.
