Day 52 – A Fit Life

a little over a week ago, I was grappling with how living healthy should be exactly that: living it.

My mind gets a workout everyday that I have lecture. I listen to NPR in the car because the mental stimulation it provides makes me feel fulfilled. My physical status should receive the same attention – a picture of good overall health has both mental and physical strength.

Seeing how my body has responded to the mental changes I have made makes me feel like this whole lifestyle approach is much more comprehensive and beneficial to improving the quality of my life. I’ve spent quite a few years pushing my mind, almost to the doctor min of my body. Now, I have an appreciation for the mind/body connection and want to strengthen the bond between the 2 so that a strong body and strong mind reflect each other in me.
