Two weeks in the bag, baby!
I have been so good, and it has been surprisingly easy to stay on-track.
I’m still super-grateful to Jelaine for making it easy to be “good” during meals – she had the idea to pre-make easy-to-take, healthy lunches at the beginning of the week. She got 10 tupperware that we fill with tasty meals & stack in the fridge, grab when we leave for the day, and *voila* no-excuse-to-eat-junk meals for the middle of the day!
I’ve learned that the whole “diet” idea is self-defeating because it focuses so much on what not to eat and deprivation. The word “DIE” is right there, for goodness sake. . . We have taken the approach to just DO the thing, and we focus on setting ourselves up for success by taking away the opportunity to make bad eating decisions and making it easy to succeed.
